From March 7th April to 9th July, The Court Barn Museum, Chipping Camden, is holding a special exhibition “Cockneys in Arcadia; C R Ashbee in Chipping Campden” focussing on The Guild of Handicraft’s work from 1902, after they had moved to the Cotswolds.

Secondly, the Fundacian Juan March, will be hosting the first ever arts and crafts exhibition in Spain, “William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement in Britain”. This runs from October 6th to January 21st, 2018 at the Foundation’s museum in the centre of Madrid. It then moves to Barcelona from 22nd February to May 20th, 2018 at the impressive Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, Barcelona.
The Peartree Collection has been elected to the prestigious British Antique Dealers’ Association. BADA is the trade association for the leading antique dealers in Britain. Since its foundation in 1918 BADA has set the standard for trading in the antiques business.

As reported in the Antique Trade Gazette The Peartree Collection has acquired a rare, early, Charles Ashbee Guild of Handicraft silver and enamel cup.

The guide, in two parts, can be found at the links below. It gives a concise overview of all the major British arts and crafts silver designers of the period.
