A stunning, elegant, Birmingham Guild of Handicraft silver coffee pot dated Birmingham 1901. Designed by Arthur Stansfield Dixon this formed part of a set displayed at the 1899 Arts and Crafts Society Exhibition and published in the Art Journal 1899, page 379. For the the rest of the set see other A294 stock numbers. This is a rare design, I have never seen this style of coffee pot before, and has a particularly nice hand hammered finish.
