A Charles Ashbee for the Guild of Handicraft “dredger” pepper

For sale is this small  pepper caster designed by Charles Ashbee for the Guild of Handicraft, modelled after a flour dredger.  The pepper appears in Ashbee’s Modern English Silverwork, plate, 15.  Fully hallmarked for  1906.

Condition overall is excellent.  The lid to the pepper fits tightly to two small silver interior pegs to the body holding it securely intact.
