A Charles Ashbee for the Guild of Handicraft silver mustard

For sale is this Charles Ashbee for the Guild of Handicraft silver mustard, with a red finial to the lid that I believe is enamel but may be a garnet.  A really beautiful piece that has both a modernist and jewel like quality.  The mustard is with a replacement Powell glass liner and a modern Guild of Handicraft spoon.  Condition is excellent with crisp marks to the base.

This mustard was on loan to the “Cockneys in Arcadia; C R Ashbee in Chipping Campden” Exhibition at Court Barn Museum 7th April to 9th July. This major exhibition celebrated a decade of Court Barn curated by experts Alan Crawford and Mary Greensted and was the first to showcase C R Ashbee’s Campden period.
