A English Art Nouveau Silver Claret Jug by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths
A rare, possibly unique, art nouveau designed silver claret jug by the leading Edwardian silversmiths Goldsmiths and Silversmiths. Marked for London 1901. The flower design of the claret jug has close similarities to the work of Kate Harris, much of whose work for William Hutton & Sons was hallmarked and retailed by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths. It is possible this jug was designed by Harris.
