A Jessie King for Liberty gold, zircon and enamel ring

For sale is this delicate and beautiful Jessie King gold ring with bright central zircon and surrounding blue enamel flowers.  The  ring is marked for 15 carat gold.  It is not assayed but is model 4197 in the Liberty Jewellery sketch book page 73.

Condition of the ring is very good with some age appropriate scratches and chips  to the central stone and enamel visible only under 10x  magnification.  The stone can be re-polished on request.  The ring is UK size N.

Jessie Marion King (1873-1949) is a famous Glasgow school artist, illustrator and designer.  She worked for Liberty & Co from c 1904-6 and was responsible for many of their later Cymric range jewellery designs.
