A Kate Harris for William Hutton & Sons Two Handled bowl

Price: Sold

A lovely example of Kate Harris work for William Hutton & Sons. This design was registered by Huttons in 1899, registration number 332249 and this number is stamped to the base of the bowl. This form of bowl appears in a number of Kate Harris styles but this seems to be the rarer and most original version from one of her earliest design patterns.  A variant on this bowl can be found in the Victoria & Albert Museum silver room, case 16, reference CIRC 156-1965.
