A beautiful Archibald Knox silver and enamel buckle for Liberty & Co’s Cymric range. This is a particularly good and rare example with a lovely play of blue and green enamels. This buckle will be published in Dr Stephen Martin’s forthcoming revised third edition of his book “Archibald Knox”.
This piece is fully hallmarked on both pieces of the buckle for Birmingham 1907. The buckle is in excellent original condition with no restoration. The main marks are quite rubbed but, together with the part marks, complete.
