An exceptional early Georg Jensen opal and silver dragonfly buckle/brooch

The Peartree Collection is delighted to have assisted with the sale of this iconic early Jensen buckle, model 11. Designed as a dragonfly, this piece dates to the very formative days of Jensen’s workshop and carries his 1904-8 mark.  The dragonfly design is augmented with four bright opals.  This piece was acquired in the 1970’s and has remained in the same private collection until consigned to auction at Bruun Rasmussen.
