Ruby and mother of pearl cufflinks by the Artificers Guild

For sale is this really rare pair of arts and crafts gold and silver cufflinks, each main button set with a natural ruby, the backs with mother of pearl.  The cufflinks are unmarked but have all the characteristics of the work of the Artificers Guild to whom these are confidently attributed. Cufflinks were rarely produced by the arts and crafts silversmiths of the period and many pairs today are made from converted buttons.  This is a rare original set; also unusually set with precious gems.

Condition is very good.  These are handmade pieces and carry imperfections associated with that but no damage or restoration has been identified. The rubies are natural but heavily included.
